Located right around the corner from our riding stables, the Apple Valley Creamery makes the freshest and most delicious homemade ice cream and baked goods in the Smokies. A sundae or a cone from the Creamery is the perfect treat after a day of horseback riding in Pigeon Forge.

Irresistible Ice Cream

The Apple Valley Creamery has been serving sweets for over 20 years. Originally known as the Apple Barn Cider Mill and General Store, this must stop shop has nearly doubled in size since its opening. The Creamery offers 50 different ice cream flavors, including Smoky Mountain Fudge, Butter Pecan and French Vanilla Bean. Demand for the Creamery’s ice cream is so high, that they currently produce 700 – 1000 gallons of ice cream per week!

Brilliant Bakery

In addition to their irresistible ice cream, the Apple Valley Creamery also has a stellar bakery. A few years after the Creamery opened, the owners of the shop introduced a sundae that featured chunks of freshly baked Apple Cinnamon bread. The bread itself became so popular that customers started requesting entire loaves. To fill the demand, the Creamery staff started baking hundreds of loaves a week. Now, the Apple Valley has its own bakery with a huge selection of speciality breads, cobblers, cookies and brownies.

The best way to work up an appetite before visiting the Apple Valley Creamery is with a fun day of horseback riding in Pigeon Forge.
